Really great hike! The trail is pretty well maintained and easy to follow. No elevation gain to mention. The work of it comes in the 9 river crossings which ended up being much higher than I anticipated.

You are in the water immediately and the crossings ranged from knee to hip height for me at 5'11". They're all fairly wide crossings too so there is a little work in that and I would warn against bringing children, unless you can carry or assist them.

But overall it's a very easy, pleasant hike. Happened to be there on a day where the path and especially the banks were very wet and muddy. At entrance and exit for each crossing, this meant some fairly challenging sinks deep into the mud.

I'm talking a foot or more in a few spots. Again, nothing that isn't manageable for the lightly experienced and abled hiker but something to make note of and be careful with for sure and be willing to get your shoes and legs muddy.
